Brake Shoe Kit
A brake shoe kit is a comprehensive, pre-assembled package designed for drum brake systems, featuring new curved metal shoes with high-friction lining, along with essential hardware like return springs and hold-down pins. These kits ensure balanced braking, reduce installation time, and prevent uneven wear. We can supply the complete FMSI model range. Each new brake shoe conforms to standard tolerances, ensuring compatibility with the matching cams and anchors. All components are standard-compliant, of superior quality, and suitable for both OEM and aftermarket use. Riveted brake pads have a service life of 20,000 to 25,000 lbs. Standard packaging is neutral; we also offer custom-labeled packaging. And for brake lining we can provide per your request such as Fras-le ,Textar, Bremskerl .
Brake Shoe
Steel stamped brake shoes are durable, lightweight components for drum brake systems, manufactured by shaping steel sheets via high-precision stamping and welding. Mainly made of sheet metal (usually high-quality steel A345 or Q235, known in the US as ASTM A572 Gr 50 or ASTM A36) through stamping and welding processes, the brake shoe is the main structural part of the brake shoe. It supports and fixes the friction pads and transmits the braking force to the brake drum, thus realizing the vehicle’s braking function. These shoes, often featuring induced hardened cam/anchor ends for durability and E-coating for corrosion resistance, are designed for heavy-duty, consistent performance in commercial vehicles. They are commonly used in S-cam air brake systems.
Brake Lining
Drum brake linings are a critical component ensuring vehicle braking safety, and their performance directly affects braking effectiveness and driving safety. We can provide these common compound material types based on market demand: semi-metallic friction materials, low-metallic friction materials, NAO asbestos-free organic friction materials, and ceramic friction materials. Reference numbers such as WVA, BFMC, and FMSI cover more than 200 models, widely used in major trucks and trailers in Europe, the United States, and Japan. Our brake pads meet the US FMVSS121 standard and can meet various needs from economy (20,000 lbs) to heavy-duty (25,000 lbs). For the European market, we can also provide friction pads that have passed the ECE-R90 test, ensuring worry-free braking for local customers.
Brake Drum
Truck brake drums are key components of the truck braking system, carrying the important mission of ensuring driving safety. They convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into heat through friction with the brake shoes, thereby achieving deceleration or stopping, and serve as the core guarantee of the truck’s braking performance.
